The Citizen Aid course requires 3 hours of teaching time. We do not offer this as a split course
Who is it for?
Citizen Aid is aimed at anyone who has concerns about being involved in a major incident whether gun, knife or terrorism related and whether you work in a high risk environment or just want to be prepared.
It is suitable for anyone but there are some floor exercises involved so you do need to be able to kneel down.
The course deals directly with major, life threatening injuries and is quite graphic including pictures and scenarios that may well be very upsetting.
It is not a substitute for a workplace First Aid course.
This is a Level 2 (RQF) course and is assessed. The assessments are all practically based.
You need to download the Citizen Aid app onto your mobile phone or smart device. It is available free of charge from your app store. If you do not have a smart phone or device; cannot download the app from the app store then we do have Citizen Aid pocket cards available at a cost of £2.00 each payable in cash on the day of the course
We can teach a maximum of 12 people per trainer. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional trainers
We can run an exclusive in-house course at your premises at a cost of £275.00 plus VAT for a maximum of 12 people. As the course requires just 3 hours of contact time, we can run two courses in one day which would cost £500.00 plus VAT.
We also run regular open courses at our centres and these cost £45.00 plus VAT per person
