The chances of surviving a Cardiac Arrest are significantly improved if early use is made of an AED (automatic external defibrillator),
and this is recognised by the fact that many public places such as railway stations and shopping centres as well as businesses have
these available for use by any suitably trained person.
At the end of the course, candidates will be able to:
Assess the scene
Identify when CPR is called for
Apply basic CPR techniques
Make use of an AED upon adults
Make use of an AED upon children
